Sapp is a brawler.. Not a skilled fighter like Tyson.. No offense to Sapp but he’s more of a slugg fest type.. lacking skill.. he’s so big that his punches probably don’t land near as hard as Tyson’s. you need leverage. a lot of these big guys don’t realize once you get to a certain size your leverage is gone.
the main reason people dont like him in the ring is because he has no structure, no style, and isnt professional at all. he is ultra clumsy, has no balance, no control, no technique, is cro magna like barbaric, and gets winded within a couple of minutes. he is also very boastful. people Hate that part. however, he does end up being a great sport in the end. he Is very competitive and doesnt care what people think…..kind of like a mexican.
Think Tyson would have won, just got that great technique. Amazing dodge speed and still has a powerful punch. But Sapp just has size/strength, and against a quality opponent like Tyson I don’t think it would matter too much.
